TIP..........

Tip for using sensor q foot, from Marie Duncan at Viking.Q. Is there an easy way to get the Sensor Q Foot on the machine? I love the way it makes my embroideries look, but I struggle every time I have to put it on or take it off.

A. Yes, there is a very easy way to put on the Sensor Q Foot. Because the lever that rides on the needle bar screw is spring loaded, you are “fighting” with it as you try to put it on. Remove the foot and ankle. Place the Sensor Q Foot in the approximate position and lower the needle into the opening of the foot. This lowers the needle bar screw so the pressure is taken off the spring. Now you will be able to place the foot on the presser bar and insert and tighten the screw. Reverse the procedure to remove the foot. Lower the needle and unscrew the foot. It will come right off.

RECALL REMINDER:

For Designer I Owners - there is a safety recall on most all Designer I's through the first part of the year 2004. You may call us with your 8-digit Serial # to see if your machine is on the list.

This is no emergency, just a voluntary recall.

If you have not had your machine serviced in over a year.....Good time to get that done as well.
